Our story

From Zacatecas & Jalisco to Palm Desert.

Victor’s Mexican Food is a family-owned Palm Desert restaurant shaped by Zacatecas and Jalisco roots, fresh ingredients, warm hospitality, and a lifelong love for cooking.

The beginning

A childhood dream that never went away.

Victor’s story begins in Zacatecas & Jalisco, a rural village on the border of Zacatecas and Jalisco. As a child, he saw a chef on television and told his mother he would become one someday.

That dream stayed with him through years of work, learning, patience, and persistence. Today, the restaurant carries the same values that shaped him: family, service, resilience, and food prepared with care.
